For many
couples surrogacy offers the
only chance of having a baby
of their own. There are many
reasons why this may happen.
The main reason is usually
medical and can include
missing/damaged uterus, heart
disease or immunological
conditions.
Surrogacy should only be seen
as an option of last resort
for patients unable to have
baby themselves.
We welcome gay couples and
single men and women as we
believe everyone has the right
to have a child as enshrined
in International Human Rights
Legislation. We never
discriminate on the grounds of
sexual orientation, race,
religion, class, marital
status or ethnicity.
Surrogacy is a method of
having a baby whereby a woman
agrees to carry a baby for a
commissioning party unable to
carry the baby themselves. SA
surrogate mother may be a
traditional surrogate who uses
her own eggs or a gestational
surrogate where the eggs are
from another woman. At Delhi-IVF
we use only gestational
surrogates. |
